The Safire SF-IPB798ZWA-8P-HV has a maximum Ultra HD 4K resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. The camera has an Ultra Low Light image sensor for color images in dark conditions. The camera has a built-in automatic IR cut filter and is a true day/night camera. The camera can enable its built-in IR illumination for clear images in even darker conditions. Even in total darkness (0 lux) the camera generates a razor sharp image. The Matrix LED IR has a range of up to 60 meters. The camera features a 2.8~12 mm motorised varifocal lens.
The camera features the ability to record on the camera on a microSD memory card of up to 256Gb. Video images can also be recorded using a Network Video Recorder (NVR).
Safire offers a free mobile app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed with a web browser. The latest free Video Management Software (VMS) Safire Control Center for a PC can be downloaded from the Safire website.
The Safire SF-IPB798ZWA-8P-HV has an IP67 rating making the camera ideal for outdoor use. The housing of the camera is made of metal. For ease of installation the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (802.3at POE). PoE can be supplied by the PoE NVR, a switch with PoE or using a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter.
